Gaochun Station Project, Phase II of Nanjing–Gaochun Intercity Rail Transit
As one of the key rail transit construction projects in Nanjing and the largest station along the Nanjing–Gaochun Intercity Line, this project is under the general contracting of China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd.
The platforms on both sides of the station adopt the standing-seam Al-Mg-Mn metal roofing system, while the central rail transit area adopts a glass skylight system, with a total roof area of 13,826 m². Our company undertook the specialized subcontracting work of this project, covering the supply of all relevant materials: Q355B high-strength welded steel pipe purlins, standing-seam Al-Mg-Mn metal roofing system, stainless steel gutters, double-layer laminated tempered glass and all associated auxiliary materials.
The roofing system comprises a 0.9 mm PVDF-coated metal panel, a 0.5 mm waterproof breathable membrane, 100 mm thick glass wool roll insulation and a 1.0 mm stainless steel wire mesh.
Construction mobilization commenced at the end of May 2016, and the project was completed with site demobilization by the end of September 2016.
